Teresa Clark (Owner) I am a Colorado native, from a small-town named Yoder, Colorado. From a very young age I have always known I wanted to work with animals. I graduated from Colorado State University, with a B.S. in Animal Science.
I would like to welcome you to The Grateful Dog. My goal is to create a fun, safe experience where your pet (fur baby, child) enjoys coming and staying. We offer an off leash supervised play area where dogs can play The greatest complement I can receive is having an owner tell me 'my pet couldn't wait to come in.

I have always loved animals and pets so working with them all day and learning how their bodies work fascinates me. Everyday, I feel like I am making a difference in the lives of not only my pet patients, but also their human families as well. I'm from a family that had 4 kids, 5 dogs, 2 cats, a bunch of fish, and a rabbit. Growing up with those pets taught me not only that pets could be tools (like working dogs) but also that they could be members of the family like ours were.

Working at The Grateful Dog since 2014 has allowed me to bring my passion for animals as well as a strong background of animal behavior to the table. Starting from a young age, I had always wanted to learn everything that I could about animals and spent much of my childhood outdoors riding horses and having adventures.

I've been with The Grateful Dog for a little over a year now. I felt very lucky when I was hired here as a kennel attendant, since I always loved to spend my time with animals of all sorts. I've been very interested indogs and cats behavior and their body language, so to work here has given me daily opportunities to watch the cats and dogs that come here and learn so muchmore about them.
